So today coming back from the gym. I saw a group of 7 old men playing softball and the guy at bat wasn’t able to hit the ball. So the guy on third base yells, “Hey why don’t you give him an easy toss.” And the other guys were like, “yeah lets do that!” And the guy at third was like, “WE’RE ABOUT TO WITNESS AMAZING HAPPEN!!!” So everyone got ready, the pitcher lobs a really easy pit, the batter hits it, the ball goes flying high into the air, and then it goes towards guy at third. Guy at third, who from what the other dudes were saying has not gotten the ball hit towards him all day, say “I GOT IT!!!” Everyone watches in amazement about how perfect the ball was going to land in his glove.  In a few second it starts to go down from the air and head towards the mitt of the third base guy.  And just a few seconds before it goes towards him, third base guy realizes he has to actually move 2 inches to get the ball. SO YOU KNOW WHAT HE DOES? Instead of reaching out with his mitt for the only ball he was probably going to catch all day, he lowers the mitt, raises his foot and tries to KICK IT into his glove!!! Unfortunately his legs we not made of steel today, so he had dropped to the floor in pain from the ball impacting his leg.  Everyone look and laughed hysterically.  This was one of those pure IRONY incidents. Thank you for the story third base guy, it truly something AMAZING.
